Coffee Hour

Coffee hour provides refreshment and fellowship for the soul. Think about coffee hour for a minute.  The Sunday coffee hour represents one of the most important events of week.  While it may seem on the surface that volunteering for this ministry is about providing food and drink for folks, it goes much deeper.  Coffee hour is a time when folks connect with each other, when old friends see each other again, when the visitor is welcomed, when questions are asked and answered, when the soul is renewed.  The coffee hour ministry provides an opportunity for you to feed others, not only with food and drink, but with hospitality that leads to connection and communion.  If you have never volunteered for this ministry please consider doing so; volunteers rotate throughout the month.

Episcopal Church Women (ECW)

Every woman in the Episcopal Church is a member of the Episcopal Church Women by virtue of church membership. We are Episcopal Church Women, but we sometimes don’t realize that as such, we are a part of a much larger network of women, all devoted to the same issues and the same work. The ECW is an organization of diverse women holding a variety of views. The common denominator of members is love of God and the wish to do the Lord’s work.

Ladies Outdoor Adventure Group

The Ladies Outdoor Adventure Group comes together periodically throughout the year to engage in outdoor fellowship, whether it’s a bike ride among the azaleas at Callaway Gardens, a hike on the trails of a serene nature preserve, or a tour of Georgia’s mountain wineries, each excursion is an adventure and an opportunity for the women of St. Andrew’s to know one another better.

Wednesday Night Suppers

Wednesday Night Suppers are held in the parish hall on Wednesday evenings following the 6pm worship service. We offer a catered supper, featuring a variety of menus, which are announced in church and via email the week prior. The cost for these meals are just $5 a person or $10 per family. These meals are an opportunity for great food and fellowship – come join us!

Words & Wine Book Club

On the first Monday of each month at 4:00 p.m., we meet in the parish hall to enjoy some lively discussion with friends. We chat about books we’ve read and discuss a different book selection each month, chosen by the members. We read a variety of fiction and nonfiction, from classics to the latest bestsellers. The group is very informal, drop in to any meeting and join the conversation, even if you have not read the book for the month!
