Adult Sunday School
Led by Katie Bradshaw, St. Andrew’s adult Sunday school series takes place every Sunday at 9:00am in the Pink Room of the Parish Hall.
The current focus of the class is on the theme of light overcoming the darkness. For the past few weeks, and for another two or three weeks, Adult Sunday School will be exploring this theme through the book Healing Light by Agnes Sanford. The discussions have been enlightening, and we encourage everyone to attend and join the conversation.
Apart from the book, we also welcome spiritual stories that are shared personally, and we look forward to discussions of videos from people with varying perspectives and experiences on light, darkness, God’s call, and transitioning into life everlasting.
We hope that this series will be a source of inspiration for all of us, and we invite you to join us on this spiritual journey. Thank you.

Safeguarding Training Dates
The Safeguarding God’s Children and People training programs are designed to protect our communities of faith from sexual abuse and exploitation. Safeguarding God’s Children program provides participants with crucial information to protect the children they care for, both in their personal lives and in their ministries. Similarly, the Safeguarding God’s People program aims to prevent sexual exploitation and harassment in church, school, and institutional settings.
Through these trainings, the Episcopal Church strives to raise awareness of the overt and subtle ways in which exploitation and harassment occur, empowering everyone to be more mindful of their words, actions, and intentions as we engage in ministry together.
If you are interested in learning more about the Safeguarding Training programs, including who is required to take the courses, why we take them, and how to register, please visit:

Annual Parish Meeting
The Annual Parish Meeting will take place in the sanctuary after a brief intermission following the 10am Holy Eucharist, Rite II service on Sunday, January 28th. To ensure everyone has the opportunity to attend, the 8am service will merge with the 10am service to have only one service that day.
This meeting will be an important time to discuss and approve the church’s 2024 budget.
Additionally, it is time to elect new Vestry members, as Amanda Munroe, Vikki Mitchell, and Mary Margaret Bivings terms have ended.
We kindly ask that you save the date and make room in your schedules to attend this meeting. The Vestry would like all parishioners to be present as we make important decisions regarding the future of our church. We will provide more information in the coming weeks, so please stay tuned.
During the intermission following the 10am service, light refreshments will be served in the Narthex. Following the Annual Meeting, there will be a short meeting with the Vestry to finalize the Sr. and Jr. Warden positions and sign any Diocesan documents needing to be completed.
We encourage all parishioners to be present during this meeting as important discussions involving our 2024 budget as well as electing new Vestry members will take place. Please mark this on your calendars and make sure to attend. We look forward to seeing you there!
